HeartSprings Testimonies
Miracle in Matamaros
testimonies_l_001In August of 2009, HeartSprings International was invited by Pastor Tony to Matamoros, Mexico to plant a Safe Water System in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Clean, safe water for drinking and cooking was not readily available at the center or for those who live around the facility.  HeartSprings came to install a Safe Water System and to share the love of Jesus.   Both residents of the center and neighbors alike were invited to share in the gift of safe water and to participate in the celebration ceremony.

Thank You for Coming to our Town
TESTIMONIES-Alto_Caballero1_lHeartSprings went to Alto Caballero in September, 2009 to bless the people of that town with a Safe Water System.  This mountain village in Tole, Chiriqui, Panama is small and seldom visited by outsiders.  The gift of safe water opens doors.  When we first arrived the people were very reserved but after the Word was proclaimed by the HeartSprings team at the donation ceremony, the presence of the Holy Spirit filled the place and the somber faces turned to smiling faces.  Many received Jesus in their hearts.   Many were prayed for and many were counseled.

Serenade of Praise
TESTIMONY-Guangaje3_lHeartSprings travelled to a remote village of Guangaje (pronounced Won-gah'-he) far to the south of Quito, Ecuador in mid October, 2009.   It is located at an altitude of 15,000’ in the Andes Mountains.  The Andes were stunning in their splendor and sheer size, with several peaks covered with a beautiful white cap of snow glittering like jewels in the sun.   HeartSprings was there at the request of Pastor Henri and his wife Heidy.  They are HeartSprings National Directors for Ecuador.

Too Poor to Give
TESTIMONY-Sosua-DR2_lDominican Republic is a Caribbean nation of contrasts.   Socially economically there is a wide chasm between the wealthy residents from Europe and America who reside in the coastal areas and the impoverished native people who live in the interior.  In September 2009 HeartSprings visited the city of Sosua located twenty miles from the coastal town of Puerto Plata.   Sergio and Nixie were invited to help lead a crusade sponsored by the New Life Missions Church led by an American missionary.  They also were there to survey the need for clean water at the local schools and orphanages.

Manna from Heaven
ECUADOR.MFH.GODS_BLESSING-lgThe mountains surrounding Quito, Ecuador are breathtaking and majestic.  We experienced that majesty in a profound way one Saturday while we in Ecuador.  I was there with my wife, Karen, along with HeartSprings international missionaries, Sergio and Nixie Mora.  Our hosts were Pastor Henry and his wife Heidy, HeartSprings national directors for Peru.

Gratitude
ECUADOR.GRATITUDE.GIFTS-lpWe were in Guangaje, Ecuador in October of 2009, placing a Safe Water System in this small village high in the Andes Mountains.  Sergio had tested the water for chlorine before the demonstration and then again about 2 minutes after it (chlorine generator) was turned on.  The people were amazed at the difference, and many crowded up close to smell the chlorine in the water.   They were very impressed with the results of what they saw and smelled.  All except one man.  He was the  most prominent political person present.  I had managed to watch him very discreetly, so as not to give offence.   During this entire time of preaching, repenting, singing, and the live demonstration (of the Safe Water System) (about two and one half hours total) he had shown no reaction whatsoever.   His demeanor was one of aloofness and coldness.  When everyone else was showing delight and smiling, he was sober-faced and almost stern in his manner.  I later learned that he was the mayor of Guangaje.

A Gift for Jesus
ECUADOR.GIFT.BASEBALL_CAP-lgWe, Sergio and Nixie Mora, Pastor Henry and my wife Karen, arrived at the small, remote community of Gramabamba, high in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador.  Gramabamba consists of a Catholic Church, a small one room school building, and 3 or 4 homes.  We were there to give these precious mountain people a Safe Water System.  The mountain people began gathering from everywhere and we soon had a crowd of 60 or so children and about 50 adults.  While the men started unloading our equipment to do another live demonstration in the school room, Nixie and Karen began talking to the children.
